Majorcan Lamb Recipe: Savor the Rich Aromas and Vibrant Tastes of Majorca!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lamb shoulder
  • 500 grams potatoes
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 6 carrots
  • 1 liter vegetable broth
  • 3 large leeks
  • 1 bulb of garlic cloves
  • ½ bottle of red wine

Instructions:

1. Roast the lamb at 220°C for 20 minutes after drizzling it with salt, oil, and pepper.

2. Once done, remove the lamb and set it aside. Reduce the oven temperature to 160°C. Arrange all the vegetables in the base of a roasting tray, except for the potatoes, and then place the lamb on top.

3. Pour the wine and stock over the lamb.

4. Cover the tray with foil and roast for 6 hours.

5. Boil a pan of water. Add peeled potatoes and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and shake them to fluff up the edges. Place them in a separate roasting tin drizzled with oil for the last 1.5 hours of cooking time.
