The strawberries and cream combo has been around for centuries, giving birth to many delectable desserts. Among these sweet treats are strawberry bombs. Here's how to make them.

Did you know that the strawberries and cream combo was first introduced in the 16th century? Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, King Henry VIII's right-hand man, first served it to the king's guests at a banquet in 1509.

The delicacy became a staple snack when it was served at the first tennis championships in 1877. It's why you'll still see thousands of spectators at Wimbledon during tennis matches indulging in the treat.
